Intellectual Students of this college are encouraged and guided to participate in several quiz contests, essay writing competitions, and elocution competitions held in other institutions of the city. Some competitions are hosted and organized in this college. Academic: The teaching work in the college is done according to the objective of providing a requisite background of interdisciplinary aspects in respective subjects. Care is taken to emphasize social-ethical issues. Training: Teaching staff is regularly detailed for orientation, refresher courses sponsored by the UGC .They are also keenly participating in seminars and conferences held at university, state and national levels. Teaching and Non-teaching staff are detailed to participate in Quality Improvement Programs (Karma yogi Shibirs) organized by the Education Department of the State Government.
Access to the Disadvantaged: We take special care for the physically handicapped students with respect to their quota in admission and their seating arrangement in class rooms and in Examinations. Students belonging to backward castes avail themselves of the quota in admission and EBC benefits for which they are entitled. Equity: Admission, teaching, extra curricular activities and conducting of examinations all these tasks are accomplished with fairness, justice and impartiality. Self Development: Students of this college have a scope for developing their talent and potential in their study and other extra curricular activities. The results of the last five years exams and achievements in extra curricular activities are testimonials for this statement. Community and National Development: Students’ vigorous participation in NSS and NCC activities indicates the interest and keen involvement for community and national development. |

| Ecology and Environment: We have commenced the course of Environmental Studies for all students (consisted of 45 lectures and field activity), three years ago. We have a MOU with an organization called Hope Foundation, two years ago for planting trees in the campus area and taking care by regular watering and fixing tree-guards and fencing. | ||

| Value Orientation: We motivate students to take part in value based essay, quiz and elocution competitions, and dramas. The value of Saurashtra folk literature and music has been conserved by cultural events held in our college and our students’ participation and wining awards at University and state levels. | ||

Employment: Many former students of this college have been absorbed in various teaching institutions, government and semi government services. ICT Introduction: We have established a Network Resource Centre in the year 2005-06.Some teachers are taking keen interest in compiling and updating knowledge and information in their subjects and interdisciplinary fields. lobal Demands: We do perceive the global requirements for quality improvement of a teaching institute in the 21st century, and becoming serviceable to the society.
